Our office congratulates Ms Jasmine Pisasale on becoming a Director at Slades & Parsons
Jasmine Pisasale has practised exclusively in criminal law as a defence lawyer. She has represented clients in many high-profile and complex state and commonwealth cases. She has defended clients on charges including terrorism, homicide, fraud, firearm, assault, sex offences, drug trafficking, importation and possession of border controlled substances.
Jasmine appears in court daily across all jurisdictions, including the Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts. She is also experienced in briefing appeals against conviction and sentence. This is for both the Court of Appeal (Supreme Court) and the High Court of Australia.
Jasmine Pisasale is an elected member of the LIV Criminal Law Executive Committee. The committee is a representative body for criminal lawyers across the state. It provides submissions and feedback to stakeholders about changes to the law, and to procedures and practices affecting the criminal law. Jasmine works closely with key players in the criminal justice system, and keeps up-to-date about changes of such kinds.
Jasmine Pisasale joined Slades & Parsons in 2011 as a graduate lawyer. In 2016, we promoted Jasmine to Associate Solicitor and now in 2018 to Director of Slades and Parsons Solicitors.
