The legal community is currently facing several unprecedented changes affecting how our businesses and court systems operate. Notwithstanding these challenges, we want you to be assured that we remain operational and available to contact and speak to as usual.
Whilst face to face contact may be limited, in most cases we are able to still communicate via video conference facilities and of course our phone lines are still open.
At this stage, our courts remain open and continue to operate, however there have been several limitations imposed on what types of matters are being heard. Each matter is different, so we will review your current situation and be in contact with you to discuss the impacts this will have on your case.
For our clients in custody, we are arranging video conferences to discuss your options. We will be also be considering whether it is appropriate to make an Application for Bail and discuss whether this action is necessary.
Despite the change in our working conditions, our lawyers are continuing to work on the preparation of your matters and will continue to liaise with other service providers on your behalf to obtain reports and other relevant materials for your proceedings.
We understand that your case is still important, and these changes will not affect our standard of legal representation. We will continue to focus on remaining in contact with you in achieving a successful outcome for your matter.
Please stay safe and we wish you and your families all the best during this uncertain and difficult time.
