Ben was admitted as an Australian Lawyer in 2018 after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business at Deakin University and obtaining his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
He was awarded the Dean of Law’s Award for Excellence having been recognised for overall high performance at the Deakin Law School.
Ben is an ‘LIV Accredited Criminal Law Specialist’, having attained his Specialisation in 2024 after successfully completing the Law Institute of Victoria’s Criminal Law Specialisation program.
Since 2026, Ben has been an elected member of the ‘LIV Criminal Law Executive Committee’, a representative body of criminal lawyers across Victoria. The committee meets monthly to discuss developments in criminal law, provide submissions, and engage in media commentary.
