Liliana appears daily in Magistrates, County and Children’s Courts of Victoria. Liliana was admitted to practice in 2016. She completed her Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Law (Juris Doctor) at Monash University.
Liliana has a particular interest in the following areas:
- Indictable and serious crime in both the adult and juvenile jurisdiction;
- Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) and the Office of the Chief Examiner;
- Specialist Courts, particularly the Drug Court and Koori Court.
Throughout University Liliana worked as a Legal Assistant at a Melbourne based criminal law firm and engaged in volunteer positions in social justice initiatives at the Liberty Victoria’s Rights Advocacy Project, Jesuit Social Services and at Community Legal Service in Gippsland.
Liliana previously worked as Associate to His Honour Judge Smallwood in the County Court of Victoria, where she gained a broad range of experience in criminal law matters.
Liliana engages with services including in-patient rehabilitation, mental health experts and experienced counsel to ensure that her clients receive support and a fair and just outcome.
